Daniel

My middle name does happen to be Daniel. That is kind of weird Eric Kelley from Santa Rosa Clifornia. Not sure how this dude found me, but he left me a comment saying that his name was Eric Kelley, also. He said it would be weird if my middle name were Daniel. Well, it is. My parents came up with my name from one of the dudes on "The Waltons." That t.v. show with the huge family and the most recognizable one being John Boy. Anyway, had I been a girl, which they thought I was going to be, I would have been Robin Elisabeth. Personally, I can't see myself as that, even if I was a girl. Anywho. Life is good being back here in Charlottesville. I have been working some and hanging out with people some. Actually, yesterday I worked 10 hours at one of my coach's pools. I am going to work for him Saturday and Sunday while I am here. All I do when I am there is sit at a table and sign members in a little notebook. I get to read and lounge around and play in the pool if I so desire and the best part is that I get paid to do it! What could be better than that? I will also be working for Bill and Annie Holland editing wedding pictures and albums. It is working out nicely, most of the time I go to their house to do my work, but sometimes they have to go out of town and I just do work from my computer at home, which is what I will be doing today and tomorrow.
At noon today I am getting part one of my bone scan. They are going to inject me with a fluid of some sort, so I can go back at 3pm and have them do the actual scan. I don't know how it works, but we shall see. Something new and exciting is always fun. The doctors still don't know what is going on with the wrist, but hopefully this will give them something. Not sure what, but something.
Tomorrow I start classes. I have sculpture from 8-10:15 everyday and oceanography from 10:30-12:45 everyday. It's going to be intense, but I think it will work out all right.
In fact, I know things will work out all right, because I have this thing with the number 11. Whenever I see the number, it reminds me of God's faithfulness to me. So many times in life I don't know what is going on and sometimes worried about the futre, well everytime I see the number 11, be it on an elevator (last night) or the clock (10:11) or in the adress bar on my browser (...postID=11...), or the 11th of the month(6/11). Whatever it might be, it reminds me that God is in total control of things and I do not need to worry about anything.
Wow, this is a long entry, but a good one. It should bring you up to date on some things going on in my life right now. I have a few new domain names I should tell you about. If you find it hard to remember CONOMOCITY you can type in www.erickelleyphotography.com now and get to the same site. I will be working on a new design, but it will probably take me a hwile to figure it all out. So, for now, it is just being redirected to Conomocity.
As you might know already, I am working on a trip with a few friends to Nicaragua, where will be walking across the country doing a lot of photography. The website for that will be www.walkacross.com and you will be able to keep up to date with the trip, there.
That is all for now.

DONE!!

So I feel like I should be doing something right now. I feel like I have an assignment or something sue that needs a lot of work, but that isn't the case anymore. I am done with school for the year and I am so, so happy about that. It feels as though I have been working nonstop for the last month, trying really hard to get everything done. I guess it paid off, seeing that my grades for this semester might need be Able to spell a coherent word. It is kind of hard writing when you can only use one letter, expecially A vowel. I might be a dork and you can think that, but that is alright. I won't object with you thinking that of me.
So I guess I am off to the bank and then to help David Tewksbury on his home, which is being "moved" into as I speak.
I will be driving home tomorrow to Illinois, and I have heard they are starting construction in Indiana tomorrow, so I hope I don't get delayed to much, because that is no fun at all, especially when you are all alone. My ipod will be my bestest friend tomorrow!!

All the way from the dairy farm

sometimes i feel like life is going to fast for me. It seems like just yesterday I was leaving home for my first year of college. Yeah, that was 2 and a half years ago. So much has happened in my life in the last couple years, I think I could write a novel about it. Or maybe it would be a nice drama. From first year girl(friend) to third year girl(what would that be considered?). From 1st year "team bonding" to 2nd year team trouble. Here is the oddest thing... Growing up I played a billion sports. How often did eric get hurt? Not very often... Now, in college, all I do is dive. How many times have a been injured? I don't think I can count the number of times I have been in the training room complaining of being hurt. First, I gained about 10 pounds of muscle first year, then I lost 15 pounds because I got mono. (Finally my being sick every few weeks during the winter ended that year). Then second year I got put on every medication known to man: advair, singulair, nexuim, protonix, allegra d, claritin, flonase and an albuterol inhaler, only to find out I have asthma. Oh yea, I had an EKG too. Then, i injured my wrist diving... Well, more like my arm... what was wrong is beyond me. Then I picked up my bloody backpack and hurt my wrist more. Never got it checed out for real, so I went on my way to Arizona and tore some cartilage in my wrist... The TFCC. I had surgery on my 21st birthday too. Let me tell you, that was the most fun I have had in a long, long time... and on that note, I am going to go to bed. I have way too much work I need to do tomorrow and not enough time to do it in.
