Six Weeks

I found out yesterday that the doctors want me to be in a splint for six weeks. It will be up ast my elbow, but I will be able to bend my arm some, but not too much... They think that totally resting it might be the key to getting it better. I have some swelling in and around the end of my ulna so it needs to not be moved at all in order for it to get better. They will also give me a cortizone shot in three weeks to go along with the splint.
They said that doing surgery on it would be pretty major, but not sure if it would work or be beneficial for me because I only have one more year of diving. They think it is something that will go away when I am not dinving any more.
