Down on the Farm

I am now back home, well I have been since late Sunday night. I tried to post last night, but the computer was being stupid for me and i couldn't make it work, so I will try again and see if i have any better luck with it. THe trip to BC was pretty awesome. I had a great time with Shawn and Danielle as well as Olemolo, the good old cat they have. I met a bunch of cool people at the camp the two of them work at. While Shawn is working at camp, he is also doing web work and graphic stuff for SGA, where both my parents work. So I am trying to get back into the swing of things with school and diving. We leave for Pittsburg on Friday afternoon where we have our last swim meet before Christmas break.

Home Again Home again Jigity Jug

... a phrase my mom used all the time when we would go away and then arrive home from the trip. Well, I am home now from B.C. I got in late last night, after a long day of traveling and all that good stuff. I had a great time with Shawn and Danielle as well as the rest of the people I met when I was at the camp with them. I recieved my bag today, because I only had 5 minutes in Salt Lake City to transfer planes due to leaving Vancouver late and arriving in Salt Lake late. Anywho, I made it home safe and sound. Now, I need to go to bed, because I am very tired and am about to lose it.

Happy Thanksgiving!!
It's Thanksgiving today!! I think we are having turkey dinner later this afternoon! There are two NFL games today, one of which has the Bears playing the Cowboys. We are then going to watch some town get lit up with lights for the holidays, which should be fun and cold. I got here Tuesday night, pretty late and just hung out yesterday. Today I am going to go take some pictures, because it is sunny and I need to take a few rolls while I am here so I can not be too far behind when I get back to school. That is all for now. It is gorgeous outside right now, so I want to go out and enjoy it.

There is now a Shawn Kelley rule. I will not explain it, but will let you read all about it in his weblog.

Virginia vs. Robert Morris

UVA rolled over Robert Morris Tonight in the season opener at Uhall in Charlottesville VA. The freshman point guard, Sean Singletary, making his college debut, stepped up to help to get the Cavaliers season started with a win. Devon Smith also rocked the house with 16 points. I took pictures at the game and because it wasn't a very highly anticipated game, was able to use the strobes, which makes for some pretty incredible conditions to shoot in. If you go to My Photos you can see pictures from the game, as well as pictures from other UVA games and things I have done.

I just uploaded some new photos. My newest assignment for Photo class is now up, which consists of 6 black and white photos. I also uploaded some football pictures or Ahmad Brooks and Brennan Schmidt. I will be working on getting more up of other people, so bear with me as I do this. I will also be uploading my diving from Georgia Tech tonight or tomorrow. We have a meet against South Carolina on Saturday, so if your in Charlottesville come by around 1 PM to support us.

Georgia Tech

I am here at Georgia Tech. We will be competing in about 3 hours from now. I just came over to Starbucks, so I could get on the internet and do a quick post. Well, I need to going now. Diving at the Purdue Boilermaker Challenge

We just got back from an awesome meet at Purdue, in Indiana. I dove pretty well. I missed a few things, but contributed more to the team scoore than in any past meets. When I was there I got to see a few of my old gymnastic buddies, from when I was growing up in Indiana. We got to have lunch and catch up with each other. It was awesome to see them. My mom and dad also came down for the weekend to see me dive, as did my uncle. It was great to the los padres and mi tío. I have already edited my diving, so there is a link that you can see, that has all my diving from the weekend.

Off to Purdue

I am going to Purdue this evening with the swim team for a meet tomorrow and Saturday. This will be the biggest meet I will have been in this year, since returning from wrist surgery. My mom and dad, and some more of the family is coming down to watch me sometime during the weekend. Anywho. I need o go to class now. I was looking through some pictures last nght and thought this one was pretty cool. The people in the middle are some people from Chi Alpha, my Christian Fellowship.
