I am sitting in my hotel right now waiting to go to the pool in a little while for the swim meet. I am looking forward to good things today. I hope I do well. Pray for me that I do well. We dive at 1045 and then again at 130 or so. I will be back in Charlottesville late tonight after the 7 hour drive from here.

Just a quickie to say how good it was to see you this weekend! I know you were really disappointed that you didn't connect with the boards too well (to say the least! :-) But maybe it was better to have a bad meet now, when you have several weeks to turn that around, right?? Right! I have some more thoughts to share, to rev you up, but I think I'll do it in an e-mail.
We sure are praying for your wallet to show up!! How were the cookies? Sorry they were crisper than you like... I'll work on that for next time.

Joel here again. Posting this after the fact on Monday, but I do pray things went well. And even if things didn't go quite to expectations, you'll do better before too long. Remember, you were laid up there for a while. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
